We are recruiting an experienced Traffic Management Operative to join a local authority highways team in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with highways or traffic management experience seeking ongoing work.

The Role

• Pay: £18.14-£21.39 per hour (Umbrella), depending on experience
• Location: Leicester (LE4)
• Contract: Ongoing

Responsibilities

• Setting out roadwork signage, cones and traffic management equipment
• Implementing and maintaining safe traffic management measures
• Supporting highway maintenance and construction activities
• Erecting posts, backfilling and reinstating highways
• Maintaining safe working areas for road users and site operatives

About You

• Previous traffic management or highway maintenance experience
• Full UK Category B driving licence - essential
• NRSWA, CSCS and LANTRA qualifications desirable
• Practical experience and a strong understanding of highway safety
