MOT Tester

We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join our reputable automotive service centre in Maidstone, Kent. This MOT Tester position offers a stable opportunity within a busy, well-equipped workshop where vehicle safety, quality workmanship and professional development are highly valued.

Duties:

• As an MOT Tester, conduct MOT tests in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Inspect vehicles and identify faults accurately
• Diagnose and complete repairs to prepare vehicles for testing
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and efficiently
• Maintain high standards of customer service through professional communication
• Follow current industry best practice and manufacturer guidelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an MOT Tester
• Valid MOT testing licence
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification or equivalent
• Strong ability to inspect vehicles and identify faults reliably
• Professional attitude and commitment to high standards
• Ability to work effectively within a busy automotive workshop
• Flexibility to work some Saturdays
