Job description:

Experienced Movax Operator required for a regional contractor. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Movax Operator to assist our client with a project based in Edenbridge, Kent. Own transport would be beneficial but public transport is available near this project.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Safely operate excavators fitted with MOVAX piling attachments.
• Install and extract sheet piles in accordance with project specifications.
• Position piles accurately and maintain the required line, level, and alignment.
• Carry out daily pre-start inspections and report any equipment defects.
• Work closely with piling supervisors, banksmen, slingers, and groundworkers.
• Follow site risk assessments, method statements, lifting plans, and safety procedures.
• Maintain safe working distances and ensure exclusion zones are respected.
• Monitor machine performance and report mechanical or hydraulic faults.
• Follow construction drawings and site instructions to achieve the required piling depth and positioning.
• Maintain good communication with site management and other plant operators.
• Keep the machine and attachments clean and in good working condition.
• Complete daily plant checks and operational records as required.

Requirements for the role

• CPCS OR NPORS with CSCS Logo
• Competence experience operating the machine
• Reference upon request
• Full PPE
• Own Transport due to location

Training/Progression opportunities:

There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management
