Client Details

Our client is an industry leading manufacturing business with sites in the UK & Overseas. Supplying a purely B2B customer base, the Customer Service & Export Manager leads a team responsible for managing the smooth flow of customer orders in line with export regulations

Description

• Lead and manage the customer service team, setting performance standards and service level targets
  
• Manage all export operations, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
  
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders, enquiries, quotations, and complaints
  
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors
  
• Develop customer service procedures, policies, and best practices
  
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  
• Coordinate international shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and overseas customers.
  
• Drive continuous improvement projects across customer service and export functions
  
• Support senior management with strategic planning and operational reporting
  

Profile

• Management of a Customer Service (or similar) function
• Experience within a manufacturing / export environment
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

Job Offer

• Permanent Customer Service & Export Manager position based in Leeds.
• Salary of £45,000 to £50,000 dependent on the level of experience.
