Cleaner

This is an excellent opportunity to join a facilities team within a secure and professional environment. The role is initially temporary; however, there is a strong possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean and hygienic environment throughout the establishment. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help ensure that all areas are maintained to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out daily cleaning duties across designated areas of the prison.
• Ensure all areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Safely use cleaning equipment, machinery and chemicals in line with training and procedures.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report stock requirements.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Work professionally within a secure custodial environment.
• Support the wider facilities team in maintaining a safe and welcoming site.

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within commercial, industrial or public sector environments.
• A reliable and punctual approach to work.
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work within a secure prison environment.
• Flexible attitude and commitment to delivering high standards.
