Location - Birmingham

Salary - £32k

My client is looking for a Customer Services Coordinator to cover a 9 month maternity contract.  You will be someone who can manage customer orders efficiently while providing excellent service and working closely with several internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing sales orders and maintaining accurate order records.
• Managing customer enquiries from order placement through to delivery.
• Keeping customers informed about order progress, delays, changes, or supply issues.
• Coordinating with Sales, Production, and Finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Resolving customer issues and providing clear feedback.
• Carrying out customer verification checks.
• Supporting general administrative tasks and project work when required.

Key Skills and Experience Required

•  Strong customer service skills
•  Excellent verbal and written communication
•  Professional and friendly telephone manner
•  Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
•  Good organisational and problem-solving skills
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
•  Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
•  Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative
