About this role

Flexible Working | Working from home encouraged | Supportive Management | 6 month rolling contract

If you enjoy leading a team and helping achieve positive outcomes for children, this role is ideal for you!

Over in Merseyside, there’s a team that supports Care Experienced Children, dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for children in foster care and residential settings.

You will be managing a team of social workers supporting children in long-term care arrangements and progressing care proceedings following the first hearing. You’ll need experience overseeing complex court work, providing reflective supervision and quality assuring statements, care plans and permanence planning, including reunification and adoption.

So what are the benefits for you?

We understand the importance of work-life balance. Alongside supporting your team with complex cases, working from home is encouraged. You’ll be leading a fast-paced team, with flexibility to work around your personal commitments while meeting the needs of the service.

Alongside this, Leaders in Care offers weekly check-ins to make sure the role is exactly what was offered to you, with ongoing support throughout your placement.

If this role interests you, please get in contact with Leo. Send your CV to (url removed), or call (phone number removed).

If the role isn’t for you, but a friend or colleague is looking for a change, we offer a £500 referral fee per placement—all you have to do is reach out!

As this is a statutory role, you will need a social work qualification and registration with Social Work England, alongside relevant management experience.
