About this role

About Us

Griffiths Heating & Renewables Ltd is a North Wales heating company specialising in the installation of air source heat pumps across the domestic and commercial market.

Alongside heat pumps, we install AC, gas boilers, cylinders, plant rooms and complete heating systems throughout North Wales and the surrounding area.

We are looking for an experienced Heating Installer to join our team.

The Role

This is predominantly an installation role.

We are looking for someone with a strong plumbing and heating background who is capable of carrying out heating installations independently and to a high standard.

The work includes air source heat pumps, gas boilers, unvented cylinders, radiators, complete heating systems, plant rooms, heating controls and associated pipework.

Previous heat pump & AC experience would be an advantage, but it is not essential. Training can be provided for an experienced heating engineer with the right core skills.

What We’re Looking For

You will need substantial practical experience within the plumbing and heating industry and current domestic gas ACS qualifications.

You should have a good working knowledge of boilers, cylinders and wet heating systems, produce pipework and installations to a high standard, and be comfortable taking responsibility for your own work.

You must be able to work independently, follow job specifications and deal with the normal practical problems that arise during an installation.

A full UK driving licence is required.

G3/unvented, heat pump, renewable heating and commercial heating experience would be advantageous but are not essential.

What We Offer

Salary of up to £48,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Company van and fuel card.

Full-time, permanent employment.

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:45pm.

Overtime available.

Ongoing training and development, including air source heat pump technologies.

A varied workload across domestic and commercial heating installations throughout North Wales.

We are particularly interested in hearing from experienced heating engineers with a strong traditional heating background who would like to develop further into heat pumps and renewable heating.
