General Foreman - Highways Scheme
Location: Cambridgeshire
Rate: £320-370 per day - CIS or Ltd company available
Duration: 6 months, rolling
 
About the Role:
 
Are you a General Foreman with a highways background looking for your next role?
We're looking for an experienced General Foreman to join a highways scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience on National Highways and local authority projects to lead the site workforce.
You'll run the site gangs and subcontractors on a mixture of day and night shifts, making sure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Supervising and coordinating site gangs, plant and subcontractors.
·Delivering highways works for National Highways and local authority clients.
·Working a mixture of day and night shifts, including possessions and traffic management.
·Briefing RAMS and making sure safe systems of work are followed.
·Completing daily records, permits and allocation sheets.
·Working closely with the Agent and engineers to deliver works to programme.
 
Essential Requirements:
 
·Proven experience as a General Foreman on highways schemes.
·A background on National Highways and local authority projects.
·Willing to work a mixture of days and nights.
·SMSTS
·CSCS (Gold or above)
·First Aid
