Site Engineer - Earthworks & Drainage
Location: Cambridgeshire
Rate: £350-400 per day - CIS or Ltd company available
Duration: 6 months, rolling
 
About the Role:
 
Are you a freelance Site Engineer with an earthworks and drainage background?
We're looking for a Site Engineer to join a civil engineering scheme in Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for an engineer with solid earthworks and drainage experience to support delivery of a key package of works.
You'll support the site team with setting out, quality control and day-to-day engineering of the earthworks and drainage works.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
·Setting out earthworks, including cut and fill, formation levels and batters.
·Setting out drainage runs, chambers, attenuation and outfalls.
·Monitoring quantities and earthworks balances.
·Completing ITPs, check sheets and quality records, including testing.
·Recording as-builts and keeping accurate site records.
·Working closely with the Agent, foremen and subcontractors.
 
Essential Requirements:
 
·Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering schemes.
·A background in earthworks and drainage.
·EUSR 1 & 2- Essential
·First Aid (desirable)
