Damp and Mould Surveyor

Damp & Mould Surveyor (Contract) 📍 South West England | 💷 £28 - £33 per hour | 🕒 6-Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Damp & Mould Surveyor to join a busy housing provider across the South West on an initial 6-month contract. This role will focus on investigating, diagnosing, and managing damp, mould, and condensation issues within residential properties, ensuring compliance with current housing standards and delivering excellent outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out property inspections relating to damp, mould, and condensation cases.
• Diagnose building defects and identify appropriate remedial solutions.
• Produce detailed survey reports, specifications, and recommendations.
• Liaise with contractors, tenants, and internal teams to ensure works are completed efficiently.
• Monitor remedial works and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Support the organisation in meeting regulatory and health & safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in damp & mould surveying within social housing, local authority, or residential property environments.
• Strong knowledge of building pathology and defect diagnosis.
• Excellent report writing and stakeholder communication skills.

Rate: £28 - £33 per hour (DOE)
Contract: 6 months
Location: South West England
