Principal Embedded Software Engineer - £65k - £80k – Sutton  – Semi Remote

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a well established Electronics manufacturer in Sutton now seeking a Principal Embedded Software Engineer with good experience working on RTOS for a brand new product the company needs to develop.

The company are rapidly expanding due to successful investment as well as recent successes in the market. The company are working in a lucrative industry, and are currently developing a new product range due to customer demands. You will be working as part of a dedicated team, on a pioneering R&D project.

As a Principal Embedded Software Engineer, you will be writing Embedded C for a range of processors, working primarily on real time systems. There is strong scope for career progression in this role so experience or an interest in moving into a leadership role is highly desirable.

Key Skills:

• Degree in Embedded systems, Computer Science or similar
• 3+ years commercial Embedded C experience
• Good RTOS experience
• Previous experience leading a team is highly desirable but not essential
• Any experience working on highly regulated products is highly desirable but not essential
