We’re looking for an experienced Land Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer who takes pride in precision, enjoys working on site and has the technical expertise to keep projects moving safely, accurately and efficiently.

If you’re confident with Total Stations, GPS and construction drawings, this is an excellent opportunity to put your skills to work on varied projects while developing your career with an established team.

📐 What you’ll be doing

• Setting out foundations, drainage, roads, structures and earthworks.

• Carrying out site surveys and checking levels, coordinates and dimensions.

• Using Total Stations, GPS and modern surveying equipment.

• Establishing, maintaining and checking site control.

• Interpreting engineering and construction drawings and specifications.

• Producing accurate as-built surveys and site records.

• Working closely with Site Managers, Engineers and project teams.

• Identifying and resolving setting-out discrepancies.

• Maintaining excellent standards of accuracy, quality and health and safety.

✅ What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in land surveying and construction setting out.

• A background in civil engineering or construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of surveying principles and site procedures.

• Hands-on experience using GPS and Total Station equipment.

• Confidence reading technical drawings and specifications.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to getting things right first time.

• A proactive, practical approach with strong communication skills.

• Relevant surveying or engineering qualifications are advantageous.

• A full UK driving licence is preferred.
