Job Title: Production Operative
Hourly Rate: £12.71 - £13.20 per hour
Contract: Temporary, ongoing

A leading manufacturing business is looking for a Production Operative to join their team on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is a great opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment carrying out a variety of hands on assembly and production work.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Operative:

• Crimping wires and cables
• Cutting and preparing wires to specification
• Basic assembly of components and products
• Soldering components where required
• Using a variety of hand tools and assembly equipment
• Following manufacturing instructions and production processes
• Carrying out basic quality checks on completed work
• Working safely and efficiently within a manufacturing environment

The ideal Production Operative will have:

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience
• Experience using hand tools within a production environment
• Basic soldering, wiring or crimping experience would be advantageous
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to follow work instructions and manufacturing processes
• A reliable and positive approach to work
