Fire Door Project/Technical Manager

About the Client

Our Client is a growing contractor delivering projects across private sector, residential, healthcare and education settings, including schools and hospitals. Due to continued growth, Our Client is seeking an experienced Fire Door Project/Technical Manager to oversee multiple live projects.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Manage multiple fire door and passive fire protection projects from planning through to completion.
• Lead approximately 10 operatives, including supervisors, carpenters and fire stoppers.
• Assist with surveys and quotations, providing technical input on installation and remedial requirements.
• Coordinate labour, materials, programmes and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Conduct site visits, quality inspections and progress meetings, maintaining compliance with applicable BM TRADA and Kiwa requirements.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate works within occupied residential, healthcare and education environments.
• Produce project reports, maintain accurate documentation and work closely with senior management and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Fire Door Project Manager or Technical Manager.
• At least eight years’ experience in fire door installation and remedial works, supported by strong technical knowledge.
• Good understanding of fire stopping systems and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and multiple live projects.
• Knowledge of BM TRADA and/or Kiwa (IFC) accreditation standards.
