Are you a Senior Joiner looking to step off the tools and progress into a management position, playing a key role in the daily operations and growth of a small developing business whilst building your management skills through 1-on1 training?

Do you want to be the go-to person within a small business, working closely alongside the Directors whilst being recognised for your achievements and directly progress into a highly responsible managerial role overseeing the Joinery team?

In this role, you will oversee joinery projects from initial enquiry through to installation, working alongside an experienced Workshop Manager and reporting to the company Directors. You will receive training in estimating, quotations, procurement, budgeting, and client management, taking on more responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the business. This is a rare opportunity for a senior joiner to get off-the-tools and be trained in all aspects of managing the daily operations of a expert Joinery team.

This company is an established joinery specialist with a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and a growing portfolio of high-end residential and heritage projects. They are looking to expand their operations and invest in someone who can develop into a key management position.

This role would suit a Senior Joiner who is looking to get off the tools while taking the step into a responsible managerial position, where you will play a key role in the operations and growth of a small business.

The Role:

• Coordinating joinery projects from enquiry through to installation
• Working alongside the Workshop Manager to oversee production and project delivery
• Training in operations management: estimating, quotations, budgeting and procurement
• Monday to Thursday - 8am to 5pm, Friday - 4pm finish

The Person:

• Senior / Experienced Joiner
• Background in bespoke or high-end joinery
• Looking to progress into a responsible managerial position overseeing expert joiners
