Gas Engineer

Example Recruitment Group is currently partnering with a national heating contractor operating within the local authority sector.

They require a self-employed heating engineer for a long-term social housing contract.

Contract Details:Location: South London
Contract: Southern Housing
Work Type: Landlord Gas Safety Checks, Central Heating Repairs, Voids and Wet Works
Contract Property Portfolio: The portfolio is a combination of both houses and flats, BUT significantly more flats/apartments than houses.
Commitment: Minimum 3 days per week
Contract Length: Ongoing
Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears

Rates:

• £350.00 per day (all parts supplied)
• Out of Hours Rates:
  £130.45 Standby weekday & weekends
  £34.80 per completed job
  £21.75 per incomplete job
• Parking Permit provided
• Congestion Charge covered by client

Requirements:

• 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
• ACS Qualifications including CKR1 (Gas Cookers) & HTR1 (Gas Fires)
• Panel Van (plain or sign written)
• Gas Safe Registration
• Clean DBS Check
• No more than 6 points on Driving Licence
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
• £2m Public Liability Insurance
