Payroll Officer

We are currently partnered with a leading, award-winning hospitality group is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join its finance team. This is an opportunity for a highly organised and detail-focused payroll professional who can take ownership of accurate and timely payroll processing across a multi-sited business.

Key responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll, including salaries, deductions, tronc and statutory payments.
• Reconcile payroll to rotas and prepare staff cost reports.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and support PAYE and other reconciliations.
• Handle payroll queries from employees, managers, HR and external providers.
• Ensure compliance with UK payroll legislation and internal deadlines.

About you

• End to end payroll administration experience with a good understanding of PAYE, NI and auto-enrolment.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.
• Experience with payroll systems such as Fourth Hospitality would be desirable
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Hospitality, multi-site or tronc experience would be an advantage.
