This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to take on a varied and influential role within a successful, fast-paced organisation. Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, you'll provide valuable financial insight, challenge business performance and support both short-term operational decisions and longer-term strategic initiatives.
Combining financial planning, commercial analysis and business partnering, you'll play an important role in identifying opportunities, evaluating business cases and driving continuous improvement. With excellent exposure across the organisation and the opportunity to genuinely influence decision-making, this is an exciting next step for someone looking to further develop their commercial finance career.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with senior finance and operational stakeholders, providing financial insight, commercial support and constructive challenge.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to improve profitability and business efficiency.
• Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and longer-term financial planning, ensuring robust and commercially focused financial information.
• Develop financial models, investment appraisals and business cases to support commercial opportunities and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and present insightful management information, variance analysis and financial commentary to senior stakeholders.
• Work closely with operational teams to understand key business drivers, challenge assumptions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support the evaluation of commercial projects and initiatives, including post-implementation reviews to assess performance against expectations.
• Contribute to improvements in financial reporting, processes and controls, helping to strengthen financial understanding across the business.

 
About You

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience within a commercially focused Finance Business Partnering, Management Accounting or FP&A role, ideally within retail or a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and analytical skills, with the ability to turn financial data into meaningful commercial insight.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence and constructively challenge senior leaders.
• Commercially astute, proactive and solutions-focused, with a genuine interest in improving business performance and supporting strategic decisions.
