Goods In Operative

Contek Recruitment are currently working with a specialist Engineering company, based in Bredbury, Stockport. Due to continued growth and success, they are recruiting for a Goods In Operative to join their growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday (07:00 AM until 16:00 PM) and Friday (07:00 AM until 13:00 PM)

Salary: £30,000 per year

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Picking of Issued materials and to kit parts and stock into relevant departments
• Maintain traceability of stock using Efacs as per our quality system
• Stock Control
• Occasional driving to transport goods as and when required
• FLT required but not essential as training will be provided

Requirements:

• Flexibility
• Ability to work with others to communicate and adapt to changing requirements
• Able to follow program timescale with reporting accuracy
• Ability and willingness to work with others to provide a secure and safe working environment
• Demonstrate willingness to assist other departments

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office

• Health and safety awareness

• Previous experience in a similar role
