CNC Programming Engineer

We are recruiting a CNC Programming Engineer to support our continued growth and drive manufacturing excellence. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will develop and optimise machining processes, introduce new products and manufacturing methods, and ensure our machining cells operate to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Programming Mazak machines across various platforms using Fusion 360 CAD.
• Developing CNC programmes for R&D prototypes, first-off components, and production.
• Leading process improvements, new product introduction (NPI) projects, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Production teams to resolve technical issues and improve efficiency.
• Applying Lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Supporting day-to-day production, quality procedures, and the development of machining cells.
• Assisting with shop-floor supervision and providing training where required.

The ideal candidate will have strong CNC programming and machining experience (MAZAK preferred), proficiency in Fusion 360 CAD, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and Lean manufacturing.
