An established, highly respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Fire Engineer to join their growing fire engineering team.

With a salary of £110,000+, this is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Fire Engineer or Associate Fire Engineer who is open to exploring a new challenge within a well-established consultancy.

The Director is looking to conduct interviews ASAP and is particularly keen to speak with experienced professionals who would be interested in an initial, informal conversation to explore whether the opportunity could be the right match.

The Principal Fire Engineer's Role

• Lead and deliver complex fire engineering projects across a variety of sectors.

• Provide technical expertise in fire strategies, fire safety design and performance-based engineering.

• Work closely with clients, architects and multidisciplinary design teams.

• Mentor and support junior fire engineers.

• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the fire engineering team.

• Build strong client relationships and support business development opportunities.

The Principal Fire Engineer

• Experience working as a Principal Fire Engineer or Associate Fire Engineer within a consultancy environment.

• Strong technical knowledge of fire engineering principles and UK fire safety regulations.

• Experience delivering fire strategies across complex projects.

• Relevant degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.

• Chartered status (CEng) or working towards chartership would be advantageous.

• Strong communication, leadership and client-facing skills.
