Associate Architect
About this role
Associate Architect – Clear Path to Director | London
The opportunity
How many Associate roles come with a clear, detailed pathway to becoming a Director?
This one does!
Our client is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design and property consultancy, recognised for both the quality of their design and the way they run their business. With offices across the UK, they deliver everything from large-scale new build and refurbishment projects to smaller-value design and construction work. Their portfolio spans commercial, health, education, industrial, residential, defence and community sectors.
Their London Architecture team is looking for an Associate to join them, with a very realistic pathway to Director. You will be afforded the opportunity to work alongside current Directors to ensure a smooth transition into the role from day one.
This isn’t an empty promise. The practice has a strong track record of promoting from within, all the way up to Partner level!
The person they’re looking for
You’re a RIBA/ARB qualified Architect with at least five years’ post-qualification experience and varied sector experience that ideally includes Education, Healthcare, Residential and Social Housing projects. You’ll also come with extensive BIM experience using Revit.
As the role is heading towards Director, the commercial side counts too. You can put together a fee proposal, you understand how project finances work, and you enjoy building relationships, whether that’s winning over new clients or growing existing ones.
What’s on offer
Salary likely to be in the range of £60k-£70k, fully dependent on experience, plus:
- Flexible and remote working opportunities
- 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, and festive shutdown
- Competitive company pension scheme
- Health cash plan
- Professional membership support
- Cycle to Work scheme
- Season ticket loan (where applicable)
- Death in service benefit
