£107-£120 per day

Veritas Education is currently seeking enthusiastic, resilient and experienced Psychology Graduates to work in SEN schools in East London. These full-time positions are available for an immediate start and offer an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The successful candidates will have previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN or additional needs, alongside a patient, empathetic and individualised approach to student support. You will provide one-to-one, small-group and classroom support, helping pupils engage with learning and develop academically, socially and emotionally.

Responsibilities for Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant:

• Provide one-to-one, small-group and classroom support to pupils with SEN.
• Support pupils with their learning, development and engagement.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Work closely with teachers and other staff to meet individual pupil needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and act as a consistent role model.
• Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence and social skills.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Psychology or a related subject
• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN or additional needs.
• A patient, resilient and empathetic approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• The ability to adapt to individual student needs and provide tailored support.
• Experience within an educational or specialist SEN setting is highly desirable.
