Trading Standards Officer

A Local Authority in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Trading Standards Officer to join the team on an initial 6-month part time contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time interim work, whether alongside an existing contract or as a flexible route back into the market.

Key Requirements:

• Recent Local Authority Trading Standards experience
• Strong background in Weights & Measures
• Experience undertaking Animal Feed inspections and enforcement activities
• Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload

The Role:

• 3 days per week on-site
• Support a busy and established Trading Standards team
• Focus on Weights & Measures and Animal Feed work
