General Operative – Leeds, LS9 0NY – FULLTIME – Murphys Project

Vacancy available for candidate with the right cards/tickets on a Murphys Welding Fabrication site in Leeds

Assignment Details

• Employment Type: Full-time
• Payment Basis: PAYE
• Start Date: As soon as possible following successful vetting checks, medical and on-site induction
• Assignment Duration: 6 Month Initial vacancy, Potential for longer term work
• Location: Leeds, LS9 0NY

Must Have

• CSCS Green Card
• Reach Truck Ticket/experience

Role and Responsibilities

• Looking after material movement on site
• Dealing with occasional deliveries to site
• Stock Organising
• Assist with paperwork when necessary

Shifts

• Working Days: Monday – Friday
• Start Time: 07:00
• Finish Time: 16:00
• Shift Pattern: 9 Hour Day shifts

Health and Safety Risks

The successful candidate will be expected to promote and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring site rules and procedures are followed.

Key risks associated with the role include:

• Moving Plant and Vehicles – Follow site traffic management procedures at all times
• Slips, Trips and Falls: Keep work areas and access routes safe and tidy
• Manual Handling: Use safe lifting techniques and appropriate equipment

All site-specific risks and control measures must be confirmed through the project RAMS, risk assessments and site induction.
