Job Title: HVAC Engineer       

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to £37,000 - £40,000 p.a.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 17.00pm

Next Generation have been appointed to recruit for a HVAC Engineer to work for a well-established HVAC business based in the Midlands. The HVAC Engineer you will be responsible for providing refurbishments, repairs and upgrades to AHU’s across customer sites

Duties of the HVAC Engineer:

• Carry out AHU refurbishment, repairs and upgrades across customer sites.
• Carry out assessment of the current condition of equipment, identify faults and highlight and additional work that may be required.
• Working to relevant drawings, specifications and installation instructions.
• Coordinate with colleagues, customers, and other contractors to complete scheduled works.
• Follow site procedures, risk assessments, method statements and safe isolation requirements.
• Record completed work, test results and any other outstanding issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and handovers within area of competence.

The successful candidate for the HVAC Engineers position will have the following experience:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience working as a HVAC Service Engineer (Essential)
• Mechanical or Electrical bias (Essential)
• Removing, replacing and installing fans, coils, heat exchangers, frameworks, panels and other associated AHU components
• Conducting installations, refurbishments and other required modifications (Essential)
• Carrying out electrical installations and modifications.
• Connecting and testing motors, EC fans, variable speed drives, etc.
• Working with control wiring and equipment interfaces.
