Maths Teacher – The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering effective lessons that develop students’ mathematical understanding and support their progress throughout KS3 and KS4.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Teaching key mathematical concepts, including number, algebra, geometry and statistics

• Preparing KS4 students for GCSE Mathematics assessments and examinations

• Adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with different abilities

• Assessing students’ progress and providing constructive feedback

• Maintaining positive classroom behaviour and high expectations

• Encouraging students to develop their confidence, reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Creating a supportive classroom environment where students are motivated to learn

• Working collaboratively with colleagues to support student progress

Maths Teacher – The School
