Primary School Teacher – Long-Term Opportunity

We are currently seeking a passionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher for a long-term opportunity at a welcoming primary school.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an enthusiastic ECT who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching, inspiring young learners and creating a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teach and support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on the school’s requirements.
• Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, the SENCO and other school staff.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures and school policies are followed at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is creative, adaptable and passionate about children's learning and development.
• Can plan effective lessons that engage and challenge all pupils.
• Is committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.

Requirements

• QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one, as applicable.
• Recent professional references.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
