Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-site dealership group in Southampton, Hampshire. This Vehicle Technician position offers the opportunity to join a supportive, modern workshop representing a respected volume vehicle brand. This role is suitable for experienced technicians across all levels, including diagnostic specialists, service technicians and motivated junior technicians seeking further development.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards
• Complete diagnostic testing and fault finding
• Work efficiently within agreed timeframes
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed
• Use modern workshop equipment and technology
• Attend manufacturer training programmes
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician
• Strong servicing skills; diagnostic experience is advantageous
• Experience working on a variety of makes and models
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work independently, as part of a team and under pressure
• A full UK driving licence, preferably clean
• The right to live and work in the UK
