Plumber

Experienced and professional Plumber required to work with a leading housing organisation in Darlington.

Think Recruitment are looking for an experienced Plumber to carry out bathroom installations and plumbing works as part of a planned refurbishment programme across occupied residential properties. The successful candidate must be able to complete all plumbing works within a single day per property, working efficiently alongside a joiner.

Location: Darlington
Pay: £19 per hour umbrella
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2 months, ongoing, with long-term opportunities for capable candidates

Plumber

• Remove existing bathroom suites and prepare areas for new installations.

• Cut back existing water supply and waste pipework as required.

• Plan and install new supply and waste pipework to connect the new sanitary ware.

• Install new bathroom sanitary ware in the same locations as existing fittings.

• Test and commission completed plumbing installations.

• Work alongside a joiner and coordinate with other trades throughout the refurbishment programme.

• Complete all plumbing works within the allocated day, ensuring each property is finished on schedule.

• Undertake first and second fix plumbing works as part of the planned programme.

• Work across multiple occupied properties while maintaining a professional and considerate approach to residents.

Requirements

• Proven experience in plumbing and bathroom installations.

• Ability to plan and install pipework independently, without drawings.

• Experience with first and second fix plumbing.

• Must have own transport, tools and PPE.

• Ability to work to tight deadlines and complete all work within the day.

• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively alongside other trades.

• Professional approach when working in occupied properties.
