Labourer

Experienced and reliable Labourer required to work with a leading housing organisation in Darlington.

Think Recruitment are looking for a hardworking Labourer to support kitchen and bathroom refurbishment projects within residential properties. The successful candidate will assist tradespeople, handle materials and waste, and ensure work areas remain clean, safe and organised.

Location: Darlington
Pay: £16.38 per hour umbrella
Hours: Full-time
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2 months

Labourer

• Assist with stripping out existing kitchens and bathrooms.

• Remove ceramic wall tiles and break out concrete floor screed.

• Assist with preparing floors and bedding in level-access shower trays.

• Drive the site pickup to collect waste and transport it to the tip.

• Collect materials from the central store and distribute them to site.

• Load and transport materials, including kitchen units, into properties.

• Clean work areas and replace floor protection when required.

• Maintain site tidiness and ensure work areas are kept safe.

• Work alongside tradespeople to support the timely completion of refurbishment works.

Requirements

• Previous labouring or refurbishment experience is desirable.

• Full, valid driving licence to drive the site pickup.

• Physically fit and able to move materials and assist with strip-out work.

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Good awareness of site health and safety.
