Mechanical Fitter

Industrial Recruitment Services Ltd (IRS) are currently recruiting for a Mobile Fitting Technician to join our client, an established company within the automotive industry.

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on individual with previous mechanical, automotive or fitting experience to carry out installations and maintenance work at various customer locations.

The successful candidate will have good practical skills, basic electrical knowledge and the ability to work independently.

Salary is dependent on experience, and candidates with transferable skills will also be considered.

The Role:

• Installing and fitting automotive components and equipment

• Carrying out mechanical and basic electrical work

• Working with vehicle wiring and electrical connections

• Completing installations, fault-finding and quality checks

• Travelling to customer sites

• Maintaining tools and equipment

• Completing relevant paperwork

Working Hours:

Full-time, mobile position.

The Person:

• Full UK driving license essential

• Previous mechanical, automotive or fitting experience

• Basic knowledge of vehicle electrics

• Confident using hand and power tools

• Reliable and able to work independently

• Good communication and customer service skills
