Labourer

Your new company
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Labourer to join a busy site in Ardrossan, Scotland on a temporary contract.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of general labouring duties, supporting tradespeople and helping to ensure the site remains safe, tidy and organised throughout the contract.

Your new role

• General labouring duties across the site
• Assisting joiners, plumbers and other trades where required
• Moving, loading and unloading building materials
• Distributing materials to different areas of the site
• Clearing waste, debris and surplus materials
• Maintaining clean and tidy work areas
• Carrying out basic site preparation works
• Using basic hand and power tools where appropriate
• Helping with deliveries and ensuring materials are stored correctly
• Removing old materials and preparing areas for ongoing works

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience working as a Labourer on construction, refurbishment or maintenance projects
• Valid CSCS card
• Comfortable carrying out physically demanding work
• Experience using basic hand and power tools
• Good understanding of site health and safety
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
