Role and Client Overview

Renewable Energy Electrician required for our client, they have been delivered heating and energy-efficiency services since 2005 and operates across Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Sussex, Berkshire, London and surrounding areas. The business has been recognised at the Energy Efficiency Awards 2025 for its workmanship and customer service.

This permanent, full-time position involves electrical installation, remedial and maintenance work across North West London, St Albans, High Wycombe, Slough and surrounding areas. You will install and support renewable energy systems in occupied domestic properties, including solar batteries, heat pumps and ventilation fans, with a focus on practical, safe and visually acceptable solutions that minimise disruption to customers.

Renewable Energy Electrician Key Responsibilities
• Install, maintain and carry out remedial work on solar battery systems, heat pumps and ventilation fans.
• Complete a mixture of heat pump and solar-based electrical installations and associated works.
• Design and implement practical wiring solutions suited to different existing properties.
• Work safely and professionally in occupied homes, keeping disruption to a minimum.
• Deliver high-quality electrical workmanship and maintain a professional customer-facing approach.
• Travel to sites across North West London, St Albans, High Wycombe, Slough and surrounding areas.

Renewable Energy Electrician Experience and Requirements
• Fully competent Electrician
• NVQ Level 3 Qualification
• 2391 Test and Inspection or equivalent 
• 18th Edition certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience working in occupied existing homes
• Experience with solar and heat pump systems
• A professional, conscientious approach to customer service and workmanship.

Renewable Energy Electrician Remuneration
• Salary of £46,000–£52,000.
• Company van.
