Electrician

Electrician, £26.50 per hour, Temp to Perm, Glasgow, Commercial

Benefits

• Pay rate: £26.50 per hour.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm.
• Contract: Rolling contract with potential work until mid-December.
• Varied projects: Opportunities to work across retail, hospitality, hotels, theatres, retirement flats and industrial facilities.
• Team environment: Travel to sites with an experienced team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out full electrical rewires and installations.
• Install and maintain lighting systems, air conditioning and electric vehicle charging points.
• Complete first-fix and second-fix electrical work.
• Perform electrical repairs, maintenance and fault-finding.
• Install containment systems and distribution boards.
• Work safely and efficiently across multiple commercial sites, including projects such as Glasgow Central and Blythswood.

Requirements

• Valid 18th Edition electrical qualification.
• Previous commercial electrical experience.
• Valid ECS card.
• Own tools and safety boots.
• Ability to work across multiple sites throughout Glasgow and the Central Belt.
• Strong commitment to health and safety, quality workmanship and teamwork.
