New Homes Sales Advisor
About this role
Our client is a leading UK residential property developer with an established reputation for building high-quality homes and creating thriving communities. With a focus on thoughtful design, quality construction and customer satisfaction, the business is committed to helping people find homes that meet their needs and lifestyles.
The company recognises the importance of delivering an exceptional customer experience, from the initial enquiry through to the purchase of a new home, and offers opportunities for individuals to develop their careers within the housebuilding industry.
Duties:
As a New Homes Sales Advisor, you’ll play a key role in helping customers find their dream home, providing excellent customer service and support throughout the home-buying journey.
You’ll use your strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective buyers, understand their individual needs and guide them towards finding the right property. This will require excellent listening and questioning skills, empathy, strong product knowledge, effective presentation and negotiation skills, and the confidence to close a sale.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for demonstrating comprehensive local knowledge, including amenities, schools, transport links and competitor developments. You’ll maintain a thorough understanding of the homes available, product specifications and pricing, while following up enquiries effectively to convert prospective customers into site visits.
You’ll use established sales processes, schemes and incentives to maximise sales opportunities and achieve individual targets in line with business objectives. You’ll also deliver a professional, customer-focused service, maintain accurate customer records and work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure a smooth and positive customer experience from initial enquiry through to completion.
Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in this role, you must have at least one year’s experience in new homes sales or estate agency and a proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a sales-driven environment. You’ll have a strong understanding of the property market, be commercially aware and confident in identifying customer needs, building relationships and converting enquiries into sales.
You’ll be self-motivated, resilient and target-driven, with excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills. The ability to work independently, remain professional under pressure and contribute positively to a team is essential.
You’ll also need good IT skills, a full, valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel, as well as flexibility to travel between locations when required. A willingness to keep up to date with industry developments and embrace new ways of working will also be important.
