About our client
Our client is a Manchester-based fundraising company representing a range of UK charities. Their teams work in communities across Greater Manchester, sharing each charity’s mission, telling the stories of the people it helps and signing up new regular supporters. They’re growing, and are recruiting Community Sales Representatives for an immediate start.

The role
As a Community Sales Representative, you’ll be out in residential areas across Manchester and the surrounding towns, meeting residents face to face on behalf of the charities you represent. It’s a people-first sales role built on communication, customer service, building rapport and charity fundraising. You’ll spend most of the day outdoors and on the move, working alongside a supportive team.

What you’ll do

• Talk to residents about each charity’s mission and the work it does
• Share real success stories that show where donations go
• Answer questions and handle objections calmly and honestly
• Sign up new regular supporters and complete registrations accurately
• Work towards individual and team targets
• Take part in ongoing sales, fundraising and communication training

What success looks like

• First week: fully trained, out with your team and having your first confident conversations
• First month: through your probation and signing up new supporters on your own
• After that: consistently hitting your targets 
• Longer term: if you want to lead, you can move into team leadership, coaching and developing new Community Sales Representatives

What our client is looking for

• Confidence talking face to face with people you’ve never met
• Resilience: not every conversation ends in a yes, and you’ll stay positive and keep going
• Good listening skills and a friendly, honest approach
• Happy to work outdoors and on the move across Manchester
• The right to work in the UK
• No experience needed. If you’ve worked in retail, hospitality, a call centre or customer service, done any fundraising, played team sport or volunteered, you already have the core skills to be a great Community Sales Representative.

What you’ll get

• Total earnings ranging between £1,935 and £2000 per calendar month, made up of a base salary and uncapped performance-based commission (subject to successful completion of a four-week probationary period)
