About the role

We are currently recruiting for Machine Packing Operatives to join a busy plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment in Blackwood.

The role would suit someone who is hands-on, reliable and comfortable working within a fast-paced production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Starting and stopping machinery safely and efficiently
• Monitoring machinery throughout the production process
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards
• Trimming excess plastic from finished products
• Packing finished products ready for dispatch
• Palletising products and preparing them for storage or transportation
• Identifying and reporting any machinery faults or quality issues
• Maintaining a clean and organised working area
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to meet production requirements

Working pattern and benefits

• 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern
• 2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts
• 6:00am – 6:00pm days
• 6:00pm – 6:00am nights
• £12.71 – £14.09 per hour
• £55.50 weekly attendance bonus

• Overtime paid at time and a quarter and time and a half
