Site Operative / Production Operative

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for a Site Operative to begin work for a well-established company in the Wretham, Norfolk area.

About the role:

• Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week
• 3-week rolling shift rota
• 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 / 22:00–06:00
• Pay Rate – £14.90 per hour
• Working within a busy manufacturing environment
• Operating fixed plant and assisting with the production process
• Basic plant maintenance and breakdown identification
• Materials handling and basic quality control
• General housekeeping and cleaning of plant/machinery
• Loading Shovel / Forklift operation when required

About You:

• Mechanically minded and practical
• High work ethic & team player
• Punctual, reliable and safety conscious
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding industrial environment
• Able to work the full 3-week rotating shift pattern
• Able to work independently without constant supervision
• Manufacturing, waste, aggregates, concrete or similar industrial experience desirable
• Mobile Plant and/or Forklift Truck licence desirable
• Willing to undertake further training
• Must be willing to comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements
