You will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, supporting customer investigations and ensuring products and processes meet relevant quality, regulatory and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate customer complaints, internal non-conformances and product quality issues.
  • Carry out root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, engineering and logistics teams to reduce defects, scrap and rework.
  • Support product inspections, testing, validation and product and process approvals.
  • Assist with internal, external and customer audits.
  • Maintain accurate quality documentation, procedures and inspection records.
  • Support compliance with relevant ATEX, UL and customer-specific requirements.
  • Analyse quality performance data and help improve Right First Time (RFT) performance.
  • Promote a proactive quality culture across the business.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • A good understanding of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with root cause analysis, non-conformance management and corrective actions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.

Knowledge of ATEX, UL certification, product approvals or manufacturing process validation would be advantageous.

What's on Offer?

  • Salary of £30,000–£40,000, depending on experience.
  • Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00am–4:00pm.
  • The opportunity to make a real contribution to manufacturing quality and continuous improvement.
