Joiner / Multi-Trade Operative – Swindon / Bristol

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Joiner / Multi-Trade Operative to join a growing facilities management business, covering the Swindon and Bristol areas .

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking for a permanent position with a competitive hourly rate, a company van, and a strong benefits package.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance, routine repairs, and planned refurbishment works across commercial properties, including live and void buildings.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out joinery and carpentry repairs.
• Completing general multi-trade works, including patch plastering, tiling, and minor plumbing repairs.
• Undertaking fire door remedial works.
• Attending reactive maintenance callouts and planned refurbishment projects.
• Identifying faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety and customer service.
• Working independently while representing the business professionally on site.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Joinery or a relevant trade.
• Previous experience in a multi-trade maintenance role.
• Experience working within domestic or commercial properties.
• Good all-round maintenance skills, including carpentry and joinery.
• Plastering experience would be advantageous.
• Fire door remedial experience would be beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence.
• A professional approach with good communication and customer service skills.
