Mig Welder

TXM Recruit are looking for Various Welders (Mig) or Fabricators on a Permanent basis to work for an engineering company in Milton Keynes.

The Salary for this role is dependent on Qualifications & Experience and comes with enhancements after 40 hrs.  The role is Monday to Friday days, 40 hours per week with available overtime.

Salary Brackets are:

• £32 – 34,000 for Welders/Fabricators with no qualifications
• Up to £38,000 for Welders/Fabricators with a minimum level 2 Welding Qualification or equivalent

Position Summary:

• To carry out MIG Welding work or Fabrication on Rail and Rolling Stock Assets
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Performing welding operations using methods such as MIG (Essential) TIG, Stick, and Arc welding (desirable)
• Cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components to precise dimensions
• Inspecting welded joints and structures for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Identifying and repairing any defects or inconsistencies in welds.
• Conducting tests to ensure the strength and integrity of finished products.

Candidates must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
