Powder Coater

Engineering @ 365 are working with a client based in Leicester seeking a skilled and hands-on Powder Coater to join their busy Finishing Department.

Start Date: A.S.A.P.

Hourly Rate: Dependent on skills and experience

Hours of Work: 7am – 3.30pm, Monday to Friday. Additional shifts will be required as and when needed. The successful candidate will be working on the afternoon/evening shift to ensure workload demands are achieved.

Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a hands-on finishing team within a fast-paced department. You will be responsible for delivering a high-quality powder coated finish across a wide range of products. This role is ideal for someone with a strong practical background who takes pride in producing excellent work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading the track correctly.
• Powder coating to the required standard.
• Wet painting to the required standard.
• Unloading the track.
• Quality control of work.
• Other duties as required (the role will include but not be limited to the above).

Experience and Characteristics Required:

• Skilled powder coating experience is essential.
• Wet paint experience is an advantage.
• Ability to deal with a demanding, high-pressure role.
• Good eye for detail.
• Positive “can do” attitude, with the ability to think on your feet.
• Able to work using your own initiative, while also following instructions to the letter.
• Organised, reliable, trustworthy, and honest.
