Temporary Food Technology Teacher - Part time (3 days per week)

Start date: March 2027

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in the Gloucestershire area for a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their team from March 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher with a specialism in Food Preparation and Nutrition/Cooking to deliver engaging and practical lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning, preparation, marking, and assessment.

The Role

• Teach Food Technology/Food Preparation & Nutrition across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
• Undertake full planning, preparation, and marking responsibilities
• Monitor and support pupil progress
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Food Technology/Food Preparation & Nutrition at secondary level
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons
• Commitment to raising achievement and maintaining high standard
