Mobile Plant Fitter - Covering the Midlands

Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter
OTE: £66,378+

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team.
You will primarily be responsible for maintaining and repairing telehandlers, with occasional work on diggers and dumpers.

Your Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on telehandlers
• Working on other plant machinery, including occasional diggers and dumpers
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and hydraulic faults
• Attending customer sites across the Midlands
• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
• Ensuring machinery is maintained to a safe and reliable standard
• Managing your own workload and completing jobs efficiently
• Working closely with the wider engineering team
• Locations to cover: Wellingborough, Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Leicester, Market Harborough, Loughborough, Nottingham, Derby, Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Rugby, Coventry, Birmingham

 
Requirements:

• Previous experience servicing, maintaining and repairing telehandlers
• Happy to cover the midlands and open to occasional overnight stays
• Full UK driving licence

 
Your Package

• Basic Salary: Up to £18.50 per hour (£37,518 per annum)
• OTE with 10 hours' overtime per week: £51,948 per annum
• OTE with 20 hours' overtime per week: £66,378 per annum
• Hours: 39 hours per week, 8:00am–4:30pm
• Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
• Overtime Availability: Typically 10–20 hours per week
• Van and fuel card provided
• Door-to-door pay
• Holiday: 23 days plus bank holidays
• Christmas Shutdown: One week
• Travel: Occasional overnight stays required
