Pay: £17–£19 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week

Put your Siemens ShopMill programming skills to work in a busy engineering workshop, with overtime available and an immediate requirement for an experienced CNC Miller.

Theo James Recruitment is supporting an engineering business seeking a programmer who can take responsibility for writing programmes directly at the machine and work independently from the outset.

The role

• Programme, set and operate CNC vertical machining centres using Siemens ShopMill.

• Write programmes at the machine.

• Apply your milling experience to work independently within the machine shop.

What you’ll bring

• Strong CNC milling experience, including full Siemens ShopMill programming.

• The ability to programme from scratch, rather than solely set and operate existing programmes.

• Confidence working independently with minimal initial training.

• A time-served background is preferred, although relevant practical programming experience is the priority.

What’s on offer

• £17–£18 per hour.

• A 39-hour working week.

• Overtime paid at time and a half, with up to approximately eight additional hours currently available.
