Driller Operative A Driller Operative working for a busy manufacturer is responsible for drilling holes into kitchen cabinet panels, doors and other furniture components, ready for assembly and fitting. This is usually a woodworking / furniture production role, rather than an engineering or metal-drilling position. Typical Duties Operating drilling machines to produce holes in kitchen cabinet panels and doors. Drilling holes for hinges, handles, dowels, screws and fittings. Working with MDF, chipboard, melamine and other furniture boards.
