Specialist Traffic Management & Road Safety

Job Purpose: Responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of traffic management, traffic engineering and road safety strategies and operations within the local authority. This role ensures the safe, efficient and sustainable movement of people and vehicles across the transport network while supporting local policies, statutory obligations and community needs. The role provides specialist technical advice on Traffic Regulation Orders, road safety, traffic engineering, congestion management and highway improvement schemes.
