About this role
Our client Walsall Council is looking for a Child and Young Person Reviewing Officer to join their team. Main Purpose of the Role To act as the Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) for Children in Care, ensuring high-quality care planning, review processes, and positive outcomes for children. The post holder will provide independent oversight of care plans, champion children's wishes and feelings, challenge drift and delay, and ensure the Local Authority fulfils its statutory responsibilities as a Corporate Parent.
